Geskiedenis: Michael is op 29 Januarie 1977 in Scottburgh, Durban gebore, maar is 'n kind van Upington. Hy word deel van die Drakensberg Seunskoor van 1989 to 1991, en matrikuleer in 1994 by Hoërskool Franschhoek, waarna hy musiek studeer by die Universiteit van die Witwatersrand.
He graduates with a Bachelor of Music degree with specialization in vocal performance from Wits in 2005, whereafter he settles in Kysna with his wife and works as a private music coach until joining the staff at Knysna Primary in January 2009.
At Knysna Primary he teaches class music to the foundation phase learners and tutors individuals in piano, recorder, clarinet and singing. He also facilitates a choral experience training course and is involved with the school's orchestra and senior choir.

Geskiedenis:
Gebore in Graaff-Reinet, matrikuleer in 1969 (Hoër Volkskool). Studeer in Oudtshoorn en Port-Elizabeth. My 35ste jaar by Laerskool Knysna. Belangstellings: BUITELUG, rustige musiek (Beach Boys en Beatles ook!), lees, lees, lees. Was vir 13 jaar in die Rekenaarkamer.
