Knysna Primary School boasts of a very active Music Department. We are very proud to offer a wide variety of music lessons in: piano, guitar, recorder, flute, violin and vocal.
Our aim is not only to teach each learner the proper skills to play these instruments, but also to love music. Each lesson is exciting and each new step a challenge we want to meet.
Mrs Laticha van Wageningen is appointed as full time music teacher, while Mr Michael van der Walt joined the school in January 2009 as part time teacher for the foundation phase. The Knysna Primary Orchestra is conducted by Michael van der Walt , who is at the school in a private capacity.
