 | SPEECH & DRAMA
The Speech & Drama section will be open to all ages for entries in categories under the three subsections of Individual Recitation, Speech Choir and Mimicry. In this section we aim to involve as many of the schools in our community as possible, as well as present an avenue for people of old age homes and disability institutions to be a part of the Eisteddfod, and so enhance the artistic experience of our entire community. You can download the Rules, Syllabus & Entry form for this section below. Please note that due to copyright restrictions the Speech & Drama will no longer have categories for Prescribed Recitation of a Poem for either solo or group recitation - Own Choice categories ONLY.

 | MUSIC – Conventional & Popular
Along with the conventional genres within the Music section for individual and choral entries, we are excited to extend the categories to encompass contemporary popular genres, including (but not limited to) African, Rock & Jazz, and so open the platform for a greater variety of musical instruments and combination of such, for both conventional and traditional instruments. The standard categories for orchestras and ensembles will then be extended to a new category for Rock and Jazz Bands. There will also be various categories for own composition entries. As specialized adjudication is required for these different subsections, different specialist-adjudicators will be appraising the different sub-sections, so as to keep the results fair throughout.
