SCHOOL RULES
  • All learners must be at school on time.
  • Silence must be kept on entering and leaving the hall for assembly.
  • No learners may be in the hall, quad or classrooms before or after school or during the breaks.
  • Learners should remain standing after entering a classroom.
  • Learners who go to the toilet or on messages during class time, must go alone.
  • Ball games may, for reasons of safety, only be played on the rugby field.
  • Learners entering the school are to use the door nearest to their classroom.
  • Learners may only use the passages when:
    • changing periods
    • going to the office
    • going to music
    • it rains.
  • Fighting is not allowed.
  • No learner may leave the school grounds without permission from the office.
  • Learners must wait for their parents inside the school grounds.
  • Learners may only use the public phones for emergencies. When sick, learners must phone from the office.
  • Changing for swimming must be done in the change rooms. No learner may leave the pool area in a bathing costume.
  • No learners are allowed in the swimming pool area unless an educator is present.
  • Learners may not bring toys, cell phones or any items of value to school.
  • Bad language may never be used
  • Respect must be shown to others at all times.
  • School uniform must be clean, neatly worn and is compulsory.
  • The riding of bicycles, skateboards or roller blades in the school ground is forbidden.
  • The chewing of gum is forbidden.
  • Correcting fluid may not be used in school.
  • The school grounds and classrooms must be kept clean at all times. No littering!
  • No smoking, use of alcohol or drugs at school or any public area allowed.
  • No sharp objects, knives or weapons may be brought to school.
  • Learners are only excused from P.T. if a letter from the parents is produced. For periods longer than a week a medical certificate is needed.
